Company Profile

At Coleman & Associates Land Surveying our goal is to provide quality, professional surveying services, including, but not limited to: construction staking, field design surveys, topographic surveys, boundary surveys and analysis preparation of easement or right-of-way exhibits, GPS monumentation and other professional surveying services to the public, the City of Denton, Denton ISD and private enterprise. We have experienced field crews and technicians working under the guidance of two Registered Professional Land Surveyors (R.P.L.S.). 

 Firm History: Established March 1983 as a professional land surveying firm in Little Elm, Denton County, Texas.  Moved to Denton in 1984 and grew with the land boom, providing a wide range of services to the public and private sector. Working in cooperation with local engineering firms, the firm added staff, including additional R.P.L.S.  After the “crash” in 1987, Coleman & Associates Land Surveying downsized and maintained a small firm approach under the direction of the principal surveyor until 2000.  During this period larger projects were handled in cooperation with other firms under the coordination of Coleman & Associates Land Surveying.  In January 2000 Surveyors and Engineers of North Texas was formed to offer complete surveying and engineering services from one firm.  In November 2002, SENT was dissolved in favor of returning to a professional land surveying firm offering a wide range of services and not just limited to engineering support for a single entity.
